Superintendent Vincent presented three district programs for possible Golden Bell nominations and asked for board direction. The programs selected for submission were Monterey Heights’ Gizmos & Gadgets (STEM lab), Lemon Grove Middle School’s career technical education expansion, and the district’s teacher residency program that supports recruitment and preparation of special education teachers.
