Sheriff recognizes deputies and dispatch for locating missing elder and lifesaving CPR response
The sheriff's office recognized a sergeant, deputy, and lead dispatch specialist for locating a missing 79-year-old person with dementia and returned them to family; a deputy was also honored for providing CPR to an ATV accident victim that helped save the person's life.

Sheriff Klaus and county officials used a portion of the board meeting to recognize county law enforcement personnel for two separate incidents in June. Staff presented awards and asked the board to join them for photographs.
