The Islip Town Board authorized the town clerk to advertise a public hearing to consider amendments to chapter 68 of the Islip Town Code regarding Battery Energy Storage Systems. The Chair introduced the authorization and, after no questions, the board approved the advertisement following a motion moved by Lorenzo and seconded by Councillor Mahoney.
