County staff presented a draft update to the Davis County general plan and outlined next steps in the adoption process. "The planning commission is next week," staff said, and noted a planning-commission public hearing is scheduled for Sept. 3; the staff added there is a tentative county commission meeting to consider the plan on Sept. 15.
