What the Louisiana Senate passed and considered: quick reference

During the session the Senate read committee reports, concurred in numerous House amendments and took final passage votes on a wide slate of bills spanning health care, education, criminal procedure and administrative matters.

Among the measures acted on in whole or part during the floor session were: concurrence on SB 30 (telehealth technical amendments); SB 32 (perinatal bereavement care initiative); SB 41 (timely publication of minutes, shortened deadlines); SB 42 (criminalization of AI-generated child sexual materials language changes); HB 636 (Caleb Wilson Hazing Prevention Act — final passage recorded); HB 364 (public-awareness campaign about illegal firearm discharge — final passage recorded); HB 475 (AI disclosure in medical settings — amendment adopted and final passage recorded); and many others reported by committee or returned with house amendments. Several bills were adopted without recorded roll-call debate via the concurrences and committee reports read on the floor.
