Fayette County approved an updated intergovernmental agreement (IGA) for animal control services at the July 14 meeting. States Attorney Brenda Mathis said the IGA had been circulated to municipalities; Vandalia and others have approved it, Brownstown was expected to approve, and Ramsey was awaiting clarifications from county staff and Animal Control leadership.
