Commissioners authorized a joint cloud migration with Tyler Technologies and the City of Pittsburg, citing a one-time migration charge of $43,500 and ongoing vendor-managed hosting to reduce local server maintenance and downtime.

Commissioner Jim presented a proposed contract with Tyler Technologies and a cloud-hosting arrangement that will move county dispatch and related systems off a local shared server. Jim said the joint effort with the City of Pittsburg would reduce downtime experienced when the shared server went offline during a past local incident and described the migration as a one-time charge of "43,500" to move county items to the cloud.
