The Elk County Commission voted on May 26 to publish a petition to vacate Cyclone Road, located approximately a half-mile east of Road 4, and scheduled both a public road viewing and a formal vacate hearing for June 29, 2026. The public road viewing is set for 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Road 4 and Cyclone, followed by the vacate hearing at 1:00 p.m. at the Elk County Courthouse.
