The Somerville City Council unanimously approved Resolution R25-001 on Jan. 14, 2025, selecting an engineering service provider for the Emergency Drinking Water Assistance Program (EDAP) application and subsequent project implementation administered by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Alderman Jeff Schoppe moved to approve the hiring resolution and Alderman Delfino Orozco seconded; the motion carried 5–0.
