Comptroller: $190,000 difference noted between approved general fund budget and system figure

During the committee’s review of the fiscal-year 2026–27 budget performance report, Alderman Tricia Teague asked about a discrepancy between the approved general‑fund budget amount and the figure appearing in the performance report. Comptroller Alyssa Sweeten said the difference is $190,000 and explained that the variance represents revenue items that cannot be reported in the budget performance system.
