The Borough Council voted to hire Scott Silfies as a maintenance technician at the wastewater treatment plant at an hourly rate of $23.16, with council agreeing to withhold $0.50 per hour until Silfies obtains his commercial driver's license (CDL). Manager Michael Hart presented the appointment and Lisa Gantner moved to approve the hire; Denise Stine seconded and the motion passed 5–0 with two absences.
