Council authorizes moving forward with Solar Connection contract; city attorney requires invoicing addendum
Council members authorized staff to submit a contract to Solar Connection for a grant-funded project that the city expects to be reimbursed by the state. The city attorney will add an addendum to ensure the City is reimbursed in a timely manner; council noted there remain grant details to resolve but that Wykoff is "in the running for the grant."

Council polled members and gave Becky Schmidt permission to move forward and submit a contract to Solar Connection for a grant-funded solar project; Becky said the city attorney advised the grant is an up-front award and will be reimbursed by the state through paid invoices, so an addendum will require the vendor to work with the city on invoicing to ensure timely reimbursement.
