Director says proposed code changes would reduce rear-yard setbacks in Ridgeview allotment
Planning and Zoning Director Brian Frantz told the Board the Planning Commission is updating the code and proposed reclassifying Ridgeview from R-1 to R-2, which would reduce rear-yard setbacks to 30 feet; the variance granted in Case No. 03-2026 was for 20 feet under current code.

Planning and Zoning Director Brian Frantz told the Board of Zoning Appeals on June 24 that the Planning Commission is considering amendments to the village’s Planning and Zoning Code that would rezone the Ridgeview allotment from R-1 Single Family Residential to a proposed R-2 Single Family Residential district.
