ADRC committee updates Volunteer Escort Ride payment policy

The Oneida County ADRC Committee on Aug. 24 approved a change to the Volunteer Escort Ride payment policy to update a brochure that dates to 2018 and to set a new client contribution schedule. Committee members voted to require clients who record 0–500 miles in a calendar year to pay one-third of the mileage at the IRS current rate; clients with 501 or more miles per year will pay the full IRS mileage rate. The motion was made by Chair Debbie Condado and seconded by Sandy Hamburg; the minutes record "All ayes; motion carried."
