Douglas County approves multiple land sales; bidder allowed to speak after amendment failed
The board approved several land-sale resolutions covering parcels across Douglas County and the City of Superior. An effort to remove one bid failed and the board temporarily suspended the agenda to allow the bidder for Bid 12-26, J.R. Schroeder, to speak.

The Douglas County Board adopted a series of land-sale resolutions presented by the Land and Development Committee, authorizing the County Clerk to execute quitclaim deeds for the highest bidders on several parcels advertised under Section 76.59, Wisconsin Statutes. Reported winning bids included $22,050 (Bid 19-23) from Matthew and Deanna Eserhut; $2,025 (Bid 3-24) from Dalbec Sport & Cycle LLC (Nicholas Dalbec); and $18,000 (Bid 9-26) from New York Avenue Properties LLC (Wade Hill). Several additional bids for industrial and other parcels were included in Resolution #34-26.
