Committee passes technical amendments to require disability travel placard issuance

On the 10:40 agenda the chair introduced HB469, which would require the Disability and Communications Access Board to issue a disability travel placard to an applicant who has a valid removable windshield placard or disabled parking exemption permit but does not have a valid special license plate. The chair said there were technical amendments and proposed making the measure effective upon approval; the committee adopted the recommendation to pass with amendments.
