After reconvening from closed session, the board acknowledged the superintendent's acceptance of professional resignations and ratified one‑year probationary contracts issued by Superintendent Shane Strickland during the authorized interval (June 30, 2026 through July 27, 2026). The board then moved to authorize Superintendent Strickland to issue professional contracts as needed during the time period of July 28, 2026 through August 24, 2026; the motion was made by Cody Bryant, seconded by Teresa Kelley, and passed unanimously.
