The Florence mayor and board authorized City Engineer Tim Parker to assess the sewer system in Stonebrook Subdivision and to report his findings to the board. The recommendation came from Public Works Water/Sewer Operator Billy Russell; Alderman John Banks moved and Alderman Brent Sistrunk seconded. The motion carried unanimously at the Dec. 2 meeting.
