At its July 27 meeting the Lorena ISD Board approved several resolutions and interlocal agreements. Trustee Mary Timmons moved to approve the Falls County 4H Resolution (motion passed 5'0to'0 with two absences). Trustee Kevin Taylor moved to approve a resolution related to hazardous traffic conditions under Board Policy CNA (LEGAL) regarding student transportation; the motion passed unanimously among trustees present. The board also approved an Interlocal Cooperation Contract/Memorandum of Understanding with the McLennan County Challenge Academy to provide alternative education programs on a motion by Mary Timmons, seconded by Kevin Taylor.
