The Lorena ISD Board of Trustees voted July 27 to delegate authority to the superintendent to negotiate an interlocal agreement with the City of Lorena for School Resource Officers (SROs). Trustee Tyler Stewart made the motion to delegate negotiation authority and Kevin Taylor seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote of five yeas with two trustees absent.
