The Daingerfield City Council approved an application for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to fund a generator project at the city’s wastewater treatment facilities on Dec. 9, 2024. Councilmember Mike Carter moved to approve the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program application; Councilmember Vicki Smith seconded and the motion carried with all members voting in favor.
