Two CWAC members volunteer for CCRPC UPWP committee
Committee members Norm Baldwin and Lisa Cicchetti volunteered to represent the Clean Water Advisory Committee on the CCRPC Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) committee; staff explained the UPWP guides the use of FHWA and FTA planning funds and the UPWP committee is expected to meet once in January, February and March.

CCRPC staff described the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) as the annual work plan that governs the use of FHWA and FTA planning funds for local and regional transportation and related planning. Dan Albrecht summarized how the UPWP committee — which includes representatives from the Board, TAC, PAC, CWAC, VTrans, FHWA and GMT — will oversee development and offer a recommended plan to the CCRPC Board.
