The Big Sandy Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a final budget amendment at its special Aug. 27, 2026 meeting. "Motion by Kathryn Vine and seconded by Hollie De La Cruz to approve the Final Budget Amendment for 2026-2027 as presented. Motion passed 7-0. *T.J. Wigington noticed that the motion should have been to approve the Final Budget Amendment for 2025-2026. Correction made," the minutes state; the record shows the year was corrected to 2025'2026.
