Board approves MacBook purchase, new EIS and curriculum changes
The board approved purchase of 100 Apple Neo 13" MacBooks and cases, adopted Tyler Technologies as the new employee information and financial system, and approved TeachTown for self-contained curriculum placements; each motion passed 4–0.

The Board approved several operational purchases and vendor changes during the May 21 meeting. Motioned by Banasiak and seconded by Denton, the board approved purchase of 100 Apple Neo 13-inch MacBooks, 80 protective cases, and 150 iPad keyboard cases using buyback program funds; the motion passed 4–0. Separately, the board approved the use of Tyler Technologies as the new Employee Information System and Financial System for District 33.
