Secondary Roads reports culvert work, Hungry Canyon project and triathlon preparations
Secondary Roads staff told the board they are pouring a box culvert on Union 17, started the Hungry Canyon project on 170th Street, plan to replace a crossroad tube by the golf course and will brush shoulder rock ahead of the Aug. 22 county triathlon; they also reported expected processing and shipping of Nodaway 8 tank cars by Erman Corporation.

At the Aug. 17 meeting a Secondary Roads update reported active and near-term field work across the county. Staff member 'Gus' said crews were pouring a box culvert on Union 17 and had started the Hungry Canyon project on 170th Street; the crew planned to replace a crossroad tube near the golf course and to brush shoulder rock in preparation for the Aug. 22 county triathlon.
