Public Health reports whooping cough case, readies flu/COVID/RSV clinics
Public Health reported a small whooping cough cluster in one household, rising pertussis trends, surging COVID cases, and announced availability of COVID and RSV vaccines and upcoming flu clinics; the PCP program currently has 59 clients and 28 providers.

Public Health representative Denise Jiron told the board the county is tracking a small household case of whooping cough (pertussis) and noted an increase in pertussis in the area. She also reported rising COVID cases and said COVID and RSV vaccines are available at the county public health office.
