The Ruidoso Municipal School District Board of Education convened an executive session under section 10-15-1(H) NMSA 1978 to consult with legal counsel about pending litigation, specifically The Board of Education of Ruidoso Municipal Schools v. HB Construction and Empire Builders, LLC, D-1226-CV-2024-00170. The board reconvened in open session and authorized the superintendent and legal counsel to proceed as discussed in executive session.
