The Sheriff's Office asked the committee to approve a nearly $35,000 Citrix license renewal that fell outside cooperative purchasing channels. Staff explained the cooperative purchase did not materialize and the sheriff's office instead procured service from a vendor (C Spire) not on a state contract; because the purchase was essential to operations, the committee proceeded to consider approval.
