The Sumner County Volunteer Fire Department Ad Hoc Committee adopted edits to a two‑year roadmap laying out steps to create a coordinated, countywide volunteer fire service and asked staff to produce a clean draft for adoption at the next meeting. Chair (S1) said the document will track recruitment, shared training, joint purchasing, equipment priorities and an annual countywide fire service report.
