Council on Aging asks Morrison County for $3,131 to support local elder services

Laurie Burlson, Executive Director of the Central Minnesota Council on Aging, presented the council’s 2025 and 2026 data to the board and asked Morrison County for a small county contribution to leverage federal Older Americans Act funds. Burlson said the council is the designated area agency on aging for a 14‑county region and detailed service usage in Morrison County, including rides, home‑delivered meals and caregiving supports.
