Committee defers decision on $615,000 Duke Park redesign contract
The Recreation and Park Committee reviewed staff’s recommendation to hire American StructurePoint for phases 1 and 3 of the Duke Park redesign at up to $615,000 and referred the item so members can review firm proposals and presentation before final council action.

The Troy Recreation and Park Committee on Aug. 24 heard staff recommend authorization for the Director of Public Service and Safety to contract with American StructurePoint for phases 1 and 3 of the Duke Park redesign at a cost not to exceed $615,000. Mr. Davis told the committee the city received nine proposals, interviewed five firms and, with two Park Board members on the evaluation team, ranked and selected American StructurePoint under the ORC §153.69 qualifications-based process.
