Administrator Aiken briefed the council that the town "did receive our EPA level 2 assessment" and that the report includes a chlorination mandate with a target level of 0.8. Aiken said she and water staff will verify the interpretation of that level and cited staff's working understanding that tracking 1.2 mg/L free chlorine in many parts of the system may keep sample results acceptable, but she committed to confirming the requirement with the EPA report.
