Kenyon‑Wanamingo board accepts clean audit; ADM down, general fund posts small surplus
Auditor Jason Boynton reported an unmodified opinion for FY2025; the district's average daily membership fell by about 17 students from 2024 (roughly 2.5%) and the general fund closed the year with about a $145,000 surplus, the auditor said.

Jason Boynton of Smith Schafer presented the district's financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2025, and said the firm issued an unmodified ("clean") opinion with no findings for internal control or legal compliance. "Based on that work, we put together a file full of testing and documentation. And based on that, we feel confident issuing an unmodified opinion," Boynton told the board.
