The Columbia City Council passed Ordinance No. 3720 at its Jan. 5, 2026 meeting, amending Title 17 to repeal and replace Section 17.52 addressing non-conforming land, buildings and uses. Alderman Huch moved to pass the ordinance and Alderman Mayer seconded; the roll call vote was 7–0 in favor with Alderman Lawlor absent.
