Commissioner Jim Gwennap told the board April 15 would host a public meeting with RWE to update landowners on the status of a proposed wind project and to contact landowners previously missed during outreach. Gwennap also said helicopters will conduct aerial bird surveys across Smith County in the coming weeks.
