County moves forward with audit RFP and files 2024 audit with treasurer oversight

Deputy Administrator Melanie Thume told the board the county has used its current auditor for more than six years and presented a request for proposals to seek auditing services. Commissioner Tom Winarski moved and Commissioner Alan Donaldson supported approval to proceed with the audit RFP, with the condition that the County Attorney and County Treasurer review and approve next steps.
