Nutter Fort engineering reports Nutter Run complete; Chub Run, Phase II AML move forward
Town engineers reported the Nutter Run project is complete pending water-sample testing; Chub Run sewer work is progressing and a Phase II AML pre-bid is set for Aug. 20 with bid opening in September to reroute acid mine drainage behind Food Lion and along Buckhannon Pike.

Engineering staff told the council that the Nutter Run project is complete and samples will be taken on Thursday for testing before the system is put in service if results are satisfactory. The Chub Run sewer project is progressing and its timeline is tied to activation of a new wastewater treatment plant on the opposite side of the interstate; a contractor time extension is being processed so the two systems come online together.
