Clark County staff asked the council to authorize a contract amendment that would fund Phase 2 of the North County Recycling and Transfer Station siting study, moving from a broad screening to a focused environmental review and expanded outreach. Joelle Loescher, division manager for solid waste and recycling, told the council: "So we recommend that the county council approve an amendment to our current Parametrics contract, which would authorize us to proceed with Phase 2 of the North County recycling and transfer station siting process."
