Selectmen close cemetery hearing, say price cannot be discussed during RSA 41:14-a process
After public comment, the Board closed the RSA 41:14-a hearing on Aug. 20, said it would not discuss purchase price during the hearing process, and announced it would take comments and staff reports under consideration before deciding whether to negotiate within authorized funds.

Chairman Kevin D. Quinlan closed the public hearing at 5:50 PM, stating that no Board action would be taken at that time and that the Board would consider comments, written input and staff reviews before deciding whether to pursue acquisition negotiations. Quinlan reminded attendees that RSA 41:14-a constrains discussion of purchase price during the hearing notice period and that any negotiation would be limited to available authorized funds.
