The Atlanta ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2026–2027 professional development plan at the July 28 meeting. Superintendent Jason Harris presented the plan; Trustee Arlistel Maxie moved to approve and Trustee Lanny Giesler seconded. The motion passed on a recorded vote of five yeas and two absences.
