Televising finds extensive sewer deterioration; board approves final pay application

Delta 3 Engineering presented results of sewer televising on Canal Street showing extensive deterioration in water and sewer infrastructure from Prospect Street to Bowery Street that will require replacement before the state's planned 2031 highway reconstruction. Mark Digman said recent water main breaks corroborated the urgency and recommended coordinating replacement schedules with the state's work to save on asphalt restoration costs.
