Cedar Park named Music Friendly Texas community; tourism program update presented
The Texas Music Office certified Cedar Park as a Music Friendly Texas community (the 81st city in the state). The council also received an update on the city tourism program and marketing plan.

Gini Mascorro of the Texas Music Office told the council that "Cedar Park has officially received the Music Friendly Texas Community Certification and is the 81st city in the State to receive this certification." City officials accepted the recognition and the mayor presented a proclamation recognizing May 2025 as National Bicycle Safety Month in the same meeting.
