Council asks Lakeside HOA to restrict parking after emergency-access concerns
Following fire-department complaints that vehicles parked on both sides of some Lakeside streets block emergency access, Trappe asked the Township to send a letter to the Lakeside HOA asking that parking be limited to one side of the street; the Sheriff's Department will also review enforcement options.

The Council addressed on-street parking in the Lakeside neighborhood after the fire department raised concerns that parked cars on both sides of some streets prevent fire trucks and ambulances from passing. President Schmidt said the Town had received complaints from the trash hauler and UPS as well.
