City Administrator Rebecca Schmidt updated the council on a $340,000 grant application intended to fund library needs, city offices, council rooms and community spaces and to make a building ADA-compliant. Schmidt said she has inquired whether the grant is on hold because of a presidential freeze but had not received a response; she also told the council the city has not committed funds beyond staff time spent writing the grant.
