Sumner County General Operations Committee forwards funding, returns historic grant and approves multiple administrative items

The Sumner County General Operations Committee met Jan. 6 and moved several items to other committees while taking direct action on resolutions and funding requests. The Committee voted unanimously to accept estate funds for the Hendersonville Library pursuant to TCA 5-8-101 and to forward that resolution to the full Commission. The Committee also approved forwarding a nonprofit donation and memorandum of understanding to the Budget Committee to pay off $274,272.08 in debt incurred by the Westmoreland Quarterback Club.
