The board directed the city engineer and engineering services to begin design work on the Hwy. 49 (North) sewer project, passing motions twice during the Sept. 2 meeting to proceed to the design phase.

The City of Florence directed engineering staff to begin the design phase for a sewer project along Highway 49 during its Sept. 2, 2025 meeting. An initial motion authorized City Engineer Tim Parker to begin design; a follow-up motion on the mayor's recommendation authorized Engineering Service to begin the design phase for Hwy. 49 North. Both motions carried by unanimous vote.
