Following closed session, the board approved the new hire recommendation of Meredith Ruby (dual contract) as recommended by Superintendent Dr. Gusyakov; motion passed 6–0.

After reconvening from closed executive session, the board approved the employment recommendation from Superintendent Dr. Gusyakov to hire Meredith Ruby on a dual contract. The motion to approve new hire(s) was made by Trustee Laurel Youngblood, seconded by Jana Coulter, and carried unanimously in open session.
