Deferred compensation plan posts $56 million Q2 market gain; assets near $717M

Nationwide and fiduciary consultants told the San Joaquin County Deferred Compensation Advisory Committee the plan gained roughly $56 million in Q2, bringing assets from about $661 million to roughly $717 million; members also approved watch-list changes and discussed plan-document updates for public-safety catch-up rules.

Nationwide and the county's fiduciary consultant presented a positive second-quarter report to the San Joaquin County Deferred Compensation Advisory Committee on Aug. 27. "So your plan started at around $661,000,000 on April 1. It finished the 0.25 on June 30 at roughly $717,000,000," said John Stakel, executive relationship manager with Nationwide.
