Multiple residents used the Aug. 10 public-comment period to raise blight concerns and related property issues. The minutes record that William Dubois "advised council of his decision not to accept the position of Blight Officer that council had approved him for last month." Richard Goddard and Ronald Freeman Jr. also expressed continued concern about blight on Main and Cedar Streets; Freeman additionally asked questions about an easement near his home.
