Electra ISD reports mid-year benchmark gains; TEA commissioner visit planned to recognize elementary progress

Principals reported marked improvement from beginning-of-year to mid-year benchmark testing at both elementary and secondary campuses. Superintendent Don Hasley said the elementary’s improvement via TEA’s HQIM will prompt a visit from the Commissioner of Education; no date was set.
